YOUTH HAVEN RECEIVES $57,000 GRANT FROM UNITED WAY OF COLLIER COUNTY

The United Way of Collier County recently awarded Youth Haven a $57,000 grant. The money will be used for Youth Haven’s “Rapid Rehousing” program, which helps locate permanent housing for homeless families with children.

“Rapid Rehousing is a proven solution for Collier County’s homeless families,” says Executive Director Jinx Liggett. “Our dedicated staff not only assists these families in locating housing, but follows up with case management and other community services such as money-management and education.”

United Way is a volunteer-driven organization that partners with hundreds of volunteers and more than 40 local charities to provide hundreds of human service programs to 100,000 Collier residents.
